Citi Foundation Joins Pan-American Development Foundation in Important Alliance to Help Peru
Lima, Peru Citi supports and confirms its solidarity with the earthquake affected population of last August 15 and offers our sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims.
Within a framework of community support, Citi, along with its cooperators in Peru and in other countries of the world, have responded immediately to the needs of the people affected by the earthquake, giving them articles of primary necessity. The alliance between Citi Foundation and the Pan-American Development Foundation (PADF) will join this effort donating an emergency kit composed of tents, blankets, plastic roofs, water purifiers, construction material, and food, among others.
Federico Elewaut, General Manager and President of the Board of Directors of Citi Peru, said, "We are thankful to the effort of our Citi Foundation, which together with the PADF will take more help to the cities affected in the south of Peru. In addition, the Citi family in Peru and around the world joins to support those that really need from us in these hard times."
